CCTV Drainage Surveys are used today and they are also called NDT. NDT stands for nondestructive testing. It involves the use of nondestructive testing in order to check on drainage systems. The main purpose of these drains is to check on the condition of the drainage pipes, pipelines and drainage systems to ensure that they are working properly. You can use these drains in order to check if there are any blockages in the pipelines or drainage pipes and if these blockages are obstructing the passage of water into the house.

These NDTs are installed inside the house and then they provide a close view of the condition of the drain pipes and drainage pipes. A CCTV Drainage Survey, like that from Wilkinson Environmental is used in order to monitor the condition of the drains and pipelines and if needed they can be repaired at the earliest.  The person at the control room will then have to manually open the drain to take a look.
