Winter is here and the long summer days sitting out in the garden are behind us for a few months now. At this time of the year, it is a good time to clear up our gardens and make sure that they are tidy, and ready for Spring.
The first thing to do is to sweep up any autumn leaves that have dropped on the garden. By now, most of the leaves will have fallen so it is a good time to clear them off your lawn. If you have an area that is paved, or concrete, give it a good wash down and pull up any weeds that may be growing through the cracks. Take in any garden furniture and kids play equipment that won’t be used over winter to protect it from the worst of the British weather.
