What to pack to take with you to university for the first time

Heading off to university for the first time can be an incredibly stressful time and whilst you might feel excited at the thought of living on your own for the first time and to start your studying and making new friends, it can also be scary to think of all the things that you need to now do for yourself.

In order to make the transition as smooth as possible there are a number of things that you might want to consider taking with you to your Student Accommodation Cheltenham, such as the rooms available from Your perfect Pad. Here are some ideas to get your list started.

  • Bedroom items – make sure that you take bedding, sheets, pillows and quilt covers with you. It is also an idea to take some extra blankets in case you get cold in the winter months or you want to wrap yourself up on the sofa of an evening whilst you watch tv with your new friends or study for one of your exams.

  • Electronics – you might find that a tv is supplied in the living room of your accommodation but you might be allowed to take a small tv with you for your room. You will also want to take your laptop and charger with you as well. Make sure you don’t forget your mobile phone charger.

  • Kitchen items – it makes sense to take cutlery and cooking utensils of your own so that you can ensure that you have all the items that you want to cook yourself some delicious meals when you get back from your lectures. It can also stop arguments in your shared kitchen if you take your own pots, pans and utensils to use.
