It’s Autumn – Time to Get Out and Feel Positive

The autumn is the time of the year when nature begins a flurry of activity – the animals collect the harvests of seeds and berries to see them through the cold winter months and the trees light up with an abundance of autumnal colours before they shed their leaves. This is a great time of the year to get out and see the beautiful countryside in the UK.

It is tempting to snuggle up with the telly on but do as the natural world does – get yourself ready for the winter! It is a good time for example to have a wardrobe clear out – treat yourself to some mens designer shirts, put your summer clothes into storage and get rid of old clothes that you no longer need.

It is also a great time to go out and see the beauty of nature unfolding – the forests and the countryside are fantastic places to walk in the autumn months. Gone are the tourist crowds of the summer, and the low autumn sun lights up the beautiful colours of the trees and the fields at this time of the year.

Walking through the woods in the autumn is also a great thing to do for your mental health – after one of the most difficult years for most people, it is just what we need to make us feel calmer and more relaxed as we approach the end of the year and hope to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel.
